APRIL 8  BALI, INDONESIA 🇮🇩: Sri Sri Radha Madhava temple alter has very ornately carved deities of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, Sri Sri Radha Madhava, Lalita Devi and Vishaka Devi.  Here at the Gaura Hari Ashram the kirtans are always very sweet and soothing to the heart.

MAY 3 VEDIC ECO VILLAGE and SARANAGATI, BC, CANADA:   I attended the weekly DHARMA DISCOVERY - Hands on Learning course. Today a group of students prepared special laddhus for the cows by mixing oats and jaggery that was first melted on a chulha.

The Varnasrama College Foundation (VCF) with its headquarters in Sri NandiGram, Sridham Mayapur, invites devotees to  become State or District Coordinators. We will be listing on our website the Basic Qualifications and Service Description for one to take up this voluntary work. We have a few devotees finalising the curriculum for both the Geeta Pathshala Gurukula as well as the Varnashram College. Krishna willing we should inaugurate those facilities in the not too distant future this year of 2025.

Śubha Nṛsiṁha Chaturdaśī!

On this most sacred night, when the Lord emerged not in anger but in divine urgency —  to protect, to uphold dharma, and to embrace the heart of a child — we offer you these gentle blessings from the feet of Śrī Lakṣmī-Nṛsiṁha.

Let your soul be stirred by His mercy:

Bhaktapriyaṁ karuṇāsindhuṁ nṛsiṁhaṁ madhuraṁ bhaje

“I adore the sweet Lord Nṛsiṁha—ocean of compassion and beloved of His devotees.”

May He not only shatter your fears,
but gently reside within your heart like a lion guarding a lotus.

Paśyanti sarve hṛdayena bhaktyā, śrī-lakṣmī-nṛsiṁhaṁ śaraṇaṁ prapadye

“All pure souls behold Him with love in the heart—I too take refuge in that Lord.”

Practically all countries or nations in the world have original residents called indigenous people or for Bharat called Adivasis or for Canada, called First Nation people.

It is most important for us to connect with these people who still have much knowledge in relation to natural resources and practice self-sufficiency. Many of these original tribes and adivasis have Ksatriya natures and still maintain various practices in connection with Mother Nature whom they respect. Much of the land in different countries still belongs to them.

“According to the three gunas and the work associated with them, the four divisions of human society are created by Me.”- Lord Krishna, in Bhagavad-gita 4.13

Vaishnava devotees follow the Varnashrama Dharma as elaborated in Vedic scriptures. Devotees residing in New Mayapur abide by them. In the Vedic culture, society is organized as per varna (social divisions), depending on their tendencies to work and ashrama (stages in life), related to family and relationships, which is a natural system and not a man-made system. 

There are four varnas namely Brahmana (priestly class), Kshatriyas (warriors), Vaishyas (merchants) and Shudras (laborers) and four ashramas such as Brahmachari (student life), Grihasta (householder), Vanaprastha (retiree) and Sanyasi (renounced). 

Bhakti Raghava Swami blessed the Vedic Eco Village & Ahimsa Goshala in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 with his association this spring. During the week we explored Vedic Culture & Sociology, Cows Care & 
Ox training, Traditional
 Vedic Technologies, Food & Seed Security, Forestry & Natural Building.  

Srila Prabhupada instructed devotees to make Vrindavan Villages for people to experience the wonderful atmosphere of a cow-centered agrarian community.
