This book Modernity is Killing Civilization by HH Bhakti Raghava Swami seeks to unravel the plight of modern man’s current crises by presenting the Vaisnava Vedic perspective of society (Vedic Sociology). The book addresses three pressing problems found in most developed countries, the neglect and desecration of cows, land and knowledge. To give the solution to these problems the book draws upon three Vedic sciences described in Kautilya’s Arthashastra, Trayi (the Science of Education), Danda-Niti (the Science of Politics), and Varta (the Science of Economics). This provides the reader with information for a more in-depth understanding of Varnashrama training and what would be included in the syllabus of any Varnashrama College as desired by Srila Prabhupada.
