Bhakti Raghava Swami blessed the Vedic Eco Village & Ahimsa Goshala in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 with his association this spring. During the week we explored Vedic Culture & Sociology, Cows Care & Ox training, Traditional Vedic Technologies, Food & Seed Security, Forestry & Natural Building.
Srila Prabhupada instructed devotees to make Vrindavan Villages for people to experience the wonderful atmosphere of a cow-centered agrarian community.
Goshala construction
We plan to build a Goshala and Barn for house hump cows. The shed will be a structure of wood and cob built into a NE facing dug-out slope. Inside will four 10 foot by 10 foot wood cube structures: 2 shelter cows, the other 2 are for worker and tools. The goshala entrance faces North East with south windows for optimal winter sun.
